Happy Memorial Day from Adopt A Golden Atlanta!
Live simply.Love generously.Care deeply.Speak kindly.Remember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn things like:When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure Ecstasy.Take naps.Stretch before rising.Run, romp, and play daily.Thrive on attention and let people touch you.Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass. On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree. When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.Be loyal.Never pretend to be something you're not.If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it..When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by, and nuzzle them gently.ENJOY EVERY MOMENT OF EVERY DAY!

No Ordinary Fish Tale
Just checking in to share some photos my mommy took of me today! We've moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming and there are all sorts of rivers and spots that I'm actually allowed to be off leash...I can swim and play as a free dog. My sister Sierra went to somewhere called the RainbowBridge..I haven't seen that bridge yet but I'm sure she is having so much fun there playing in the flowers and swimming just like I do. I'm glad she is happy there because i miss her so much but glad she is notsad anymore, I don't think she felt very good. I guess since she's gone, and my new daddy Andy wants some fishing company, he brings me EVERYWHERE now..I love riding in the car and fishing with him, I'm really good and I stand super still to not scare away the fish he tries to catch. Look at this pretty trout I helped bring in today!Life is good, thank you for finding my forever home!

Happy Birthday to Me!
Today is my birthday and I turned 2. I have no idea where the expression “terrible twos” came from because I am having a blast. First of all, thanks to AGA I lived to see my 2nd birthday. I was on death row when I was 3 months old, headed for the gas chamber, when I was rescued by AGA. I would have to say things have turned out pretty well.
After spending time at a great foster home I was adopted and now have an older (and he thinks wiser) golden brother named Landon and two humans whom I have tricked into thinking their job is to attend to my every need. Most days I swim in my pool and when I’m not swimming or going for walks I play and/or bug Landon and watch over my property, as you can see from the picture.
So far I have met many deer - man they run really fast and can jump really high - a wild turkey who ran really fast when I chased him, many squirrels and chipmunks, and most recently a really BIG snake. It was difficult to strike up a relationship with the snake, what with all the screaming from my female human. Geez, you would think snakes are dangerous or something.
So in closing just wanted to let you know that I am doing great and to thank for saving me.
Best regards. Hunter Gambino
